I've never seen a Beetle with a bus tray adapted to it with its original metal pressing and symmetry it could look "original German". Posted: Fri 7:56 am Post subject: Re: Rattle can interior paint removal I ended up not having enough OG paint to really keep it so I ended up painting, but acetone and steel wool does the trick. I did this to my entire car and then buffed it out. I've used acetone and a fine-fine steel wool to do the trick too - the acetone will easily dissolve a non-activated (ie rattle can) paint but not even touch the OG paint. I used graffiti remover, lacquer thinner and alcohol depending on the thickness of the white paint (and a lot of elbow grease).
